1. Introduction:
GZD-1B Cable Fault Locator, integrating the HV pre-locating bridge and HV pin-pointing pulse, is specially designed for cable manufacturers. With convenient operation, it can quickly and exactly locate cable faults.  
2 Functions 
GZD-1B has four functions: 
1. DC HV test: GZD-1B can export 0-15kV DC and can do DC HV test. 
2. Burn down the fault 
To some high resistance cable fault, GZD-1B can burn down the fault, which is useful to locate the fault more quickly. 
3. Pre-locate the fault:  the bridge balance method to pre-locate the fault. 
4. Pin-point the fault 
GZD-1B maximal discharge energy is 225J. Operator can hear the discharge sound to pin-point the fault.
